Ratings and reviews

Max constantly has streaming issues. It's ridiculous that with the cost of this service, they can't seem to fix issues with shows stopping to load/buffer, and then there's the issue of the closed captioning not matching the actual dialogue. While the shows are great, it's definitely not worth having to stop and restart shows every 2-3 episodes. Edited to add: Okay, it's not just every few episodes, sometimes it's 4-5 times in a single episode. So stupid.

Works, more or less, but the play controls are terrible. Click the "rewind 10 seconds" button and it rewinds about 10 minutes. Then you have an awful time trying to find your place in the movie again, especially since the "go forward 10 seconds" button is very slow to react and gives unpredictable results. The slider is totally useless too, placing you at some random point in the movie.

Trash app. Doesn't work on my phone. Doesn't work on my TV. Half the time I try to watch something on my roku, it only shows the upper left quadrant. Nothing fixes it (yes I've tried all the trouble shooting I can find anywhere for months now). And I can't get the app to cast to my TV. Won't be subscribed much longer if the app can't even do what it's supposed to do, ie play TV and movies.
