About this ebook

Clover Carew has no job, no home and has never had a proper boyfriend, unless you count the several hundred book-shaped ones. Stopping to help the stranger whose car has broken down on the bridge to the island doesn’t seem like a bad idea, even if it is Halloween. Only the stranger is definitely not Prince Charming, however handsome he looks.

Grayson Wynne has enough problems in his life: a difficult ex-wife, a new position as the island’s doctor, a young son and no form of childcare; he doesn’t need Clover knocking on his door determined to be his good Samaritan. Especially when she comes with feline shaped baggage and legs that are too much of a distraction for a straight-laced single dad.

He needs a nanny, and Clover needs a place to live and a job. She also needs dating lessons, but that’s where Grayson draws the line, one in permanent marker, until Clover has an offer from elsewhere. Then all of a sudden, those straight laces become very very undone…

Another stunning installment in the beautiful Puffin Bay series! I adore this series so much and I highly anticipated Clover's installment. Clover has the job of her dreams, editing books from the comfort of Puffin Bay with minimal travel to London. That is until her company is taken over and she loses her job. In walks in the new local doctor who needs a Nanny to help with his adorable son. The fun then starts and we get an amazing slice of life of these two trying to figure out life.

Clover is at a crossroads. She has no job or place to live and when Grayson offers her a job as nanny to his son Luca, she agrees. I really liked Clover, she is such a wonderful character, and it was fun to watch her break down the walls that Grayson has raised to protect him. They are opposites and should not work and yet they brought out the best in one another. Breeze Bridge is a fun, entertaining story that was well written.

Breeze Bridge is the fifth instalment in the Puffin Bay series. You don't have to have read the ones before, but it helps to get some background on the other characters that appear in the book. A well written mature story featuring a gorgeous little boy, his dad, and the woman who became so much to them both. I received an ARC for an honest review.
