Bromcom's MyChildAtSchool Parent App is designed to increase the parental engagement between Parents and Schools by sharing key information about their children's day to day school information.

Please note that you need to have been invited by your child's school in order to use this app.

Doesn't work with the phone's back button, doesn't show a dashboard summary, entries on list pages (attendance, for example) are excessively spaced meaning lots of wasted screen space, and extra scrolling. Basic mistakes, make it a poor experience. SIMS wasn't great, either, but the dashboard and use of screen space make it stand head shoulders legs and feet above this weak offering.

The payment process really needs working on. It is not intuitive and users (parents) have to bluff there way through it. It does work eventually but its really not clear what you've paid for at the point of payment. Then try using it for 2 children. It looks like it's trying to get better but the business of uplifting payment amounts before then paying is really tricky.

This app rarely opens, often tells me that 'something went wrong', and has caused more stress in trying to see my Y7 son's homework and achievements. It is an awful app which frequently fails to work as it is intended. I can't believe that the developer is content with it as it is, when the requirements of so many of its customers are clearly not being met. Please, improve it or scrap it.
