Once youā€™re booked on a cruise, plan your entire vacation from the app. Reserve shore excursions for every port, purchase or upgrade beverage packages for endless toasts, and internet packages to stay connected while at sea, though the app is free to use on ship Wi-Fi.

Put together the perfect spa day... or days... and make dining reservations at distinctive specialty restaurants. Explore other pre-cruise deals in the arcade, check out VIP Passes and make your cruise truly special with gifts and gear. And donā€™t forget to link reservations with your travel party so you can make plans together.

Set sail like a pro

As your cruise approaches, use the app to check-in and qualify for the fastest boarding experience. Before you head to the terminal on boarding day, begin your mandatory safety briefing and access your set sail pass.

To plan all the fun, find all the shows and activities in the Daily Planner and build your personalized calendar. Weā€™ll even remind you with a notification when you have plans.

Be sure to smile for the camera because youā€™ll be able to view, purchase and download your photos right from the app (on select ships). Find your way around with detailed deck maps and chat with your travel party through group or 1-on-1 chats. Track your onboard expenses in the app (or not... youā€™ll be on vacation, after all) and learn how to book your next cruise while onboard for the best deals.

Loses the whole calendar of events repeatedly throughout cruise, happened to everyone in my party. Had to uninstall and reinstall to fix. Couldn't view any activities before the cruise. Activities that were changed and reflected in the paper compass were still incorrectly listed in the app (you'd think the app would be easier to adjust on the fly vs the printout, right?). Overall bad, definitely request paper compass day 1 and don't expect to get info from this app.

The app worked the first couple days on board the ship. Then, halfway through the trip while docked at a destination, the app updated itself and never worked again. I could no longer see the activities or the deck plans. The account spending and messaging did work, but those are only part of the reason for needing the app. At that point, I had to rely on the daily printed itinerary pages provided by the cruise ship. Defeats the purpose for having it if it doesn't work.

We have cruised with Royal Caribbean for a number of years. The original app helped to organise your vacation. The new one we used all cruise. From setting sail finding staterooms, entertainment restaurant bookings, and so much more. We were able to keep an up-to-date tab on our spending, so there were no surprises at the end. The departure was smooth and interactive, helping to identify a suitable time window to disembark. 15 minutes from the state room to our car. Fantastic app and a must use.

What's new

With this release, we enhanced the user experience by clarifying the use of onboard credit during checkout and how to reserve activities based on available inventory. We also improved the app's speed and usability, and fixed bugs. Make sure you turn on auto-updates, so you can keep up with all the ways we improve the app.
