App was working perfectly until the recent updates in May 2024. The app does not open as easily anymore. There are more "error" prompts occuring. Its easier to go through the actual webpage to access your account then it is via this app. The process of uninstall & reinstalling app hasnt helped either. The phone is compatible, so not sure whats going on. Would be nice if tech support would provide a response here, as it would seem Im not the only user experiancing these issues.

As others have stated. When using the app on my Android, you can't get past that first page. It keeps loading, so it's absolutely useless. I'm now also being charged the $9.99 a month for afterpay plus. I don't use afterpay enough to warrent that, so it looks like I'll have to log in on my Pc to rectify that. After logging in on the Pc, I ended up having to close my account as there doesn't seem to be any way of reversing afterpay plus. Congratulations, you've lost my business.

I have been using afterpay for about 2 years now for online shopping and have loved it. however today I have tried to set up in store payment and have found that my phone "is not compatible" for the afterpay card. I personally think afterpay should take on the same approach as zip for in store payment of just using an in app QR code as this allows for ALL customers to use the app in store which is ideal as not everyone can afford to spend thousands of $$ to upgrade to the latest phones.
