It's a pretty handy internet call/text app. I use it mainly for backup because my Spectrum service is disconnected. Works well providing I'm patched into wifi. Calls are clear and no missing texts. My only grip is, although there's a speakerphone feature it cuts in and out of speakerphone. But everything else works perfectly. Being it's a free service there are ads, but you're not bombarded with them like mainly other free text/call apps. (I'm taking a ⭐️ away becuz of the speakerphone issue)

"TextNow" is, by far, THE BEST for Text/Talk app out there!! ⭐️- It works even when your Wi-Fi connection is poor. ⭐️- The adds are few, and unobtrusive. ⭐️- It doesn't use that "Token", or "Point" system in order to make calls, so you're not stuck watching ads, or spinning wheels to be able to make calls. ⭐️- You get a REAL phone number. It's a REAL talking and texting app, and it's FREE!! ⭐️- Has customizable notification sounds, and conversation window themes and wallpapers.

The setup of the on screen calls is not user friendly at all. It's constantly putting calls on hold and then when I realize that and go to take them off hold or off mute or whatever, the dumb thing is in the middle of a lame ad keeping me from getting back into the call and taking them off of whatever got bumped by my ear this time. It's very frustrating.
