From 2024: I lost the ability to zoom on stories with the latest update. People I follow put so much tiny text on the screen that I can't read it without zooming. From 2022: Super glitchy all of a sudden. I can't watch stories without them pausing. It won't resume, so I have to go back and then to the story again. When posting anything, if I switch to another app and come back to finish my post, it is gone and locks up. So frustrating! Using Android.

It's a lousy app that sucks to use, post, and interact with people. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to scrap the normal search bar entirely and implement yet another invasive AI. It's horrible. It has got to be the most egregious forced use I've ever seen. Edit: The app is even worse than you could imagine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it is IMPOSSIBLE to log in.

I didn't have any issues until recently. For some reason, I'm unable to make some changes to my settings (eg, notifications). I used to be able to set custom notifications sounds to let me know the notification is from Instagram, but I don't see that option anymore. Whenever I try to change a setting, it glitches and gets stuck "loading". I've checked for updates but there aren't any. Other than that, the app is alright.
