THE VILLAGE! from LIBERATEVILLAGE.COM is here to help heal the relationship between Black men and women to restore the village.

The emotional wounds and trauma that we carry keep us divided and prevent intimacy within each other.

If we want to organize as a community and as an African Diaspora globally, we must develop deeper presence and empathy with each other.

A wonderful app with lots of guided meditations from teachers of color. The app is easy and intuitive to use. Meditations to connect with nature, to deap with microaggressions, and more. Meditations are also broken out into intro, talks, and meditation so you can easily skip to the part you want. Love this for a way to listen to dharma from fellow practitioners of color. If this also had a meditation timer for use without guided meditations, it would completely replace my other meditation app.

I love the concept but don't like 2 things: 1) you can't delete your account from the app. I believe that have access to discontinue a membership should be easy to do from the app. 2) You only get 3 free meditations. I think developers should look at HeadSpace's method of allowing free members to have certain content online only while paid members have access to all content online and offline. Other than that, the concept addresses a much needed space for people of oppressed origin 🌟.

I would love to give it five stars However unfortunately for me the 20-minute meditation do not play for yhe full duration and I've been forced to set a 20-minute timer to know when they're over. I've used their troubleshooting techniques and it does not work at all. If they were to fix that it would definitely be five stars for me.

We've made updates to the branding shortening the name from LIBERATEVILLAGE.COM to THE VILLAGE! We've also updated the app icon and to reflect our focus which is to support the HEALING OF HEALTHY BLACK LOVE. We've also made some minor updates to make the app run smoother.
