The government of the Province of Chaco, based on its Strategic Security Plan through the Undersecretariat of Security and Justice Planning, has been carrying out different initiatives, whose objective is the progressive reduction of crime, using different methods. and tools.
It is in this sense that an application for mobile devices has been developed, with the aim of providing citizens with a tool that allows them to report criminal acts without the need to approach a police or judicial agency.
This tool will inform:
• Criminal acts of theft / robbery type.
• Acts of Gender Violence.
• Criminal acts related to drug trafficking.
• Criminal acts such as Cell Phone Theft.
• Criminal acts related to Rural Crimes.
• Criminal acts related to Clandestine Games and / or Illegal Gambling.
• Criminal acts related to Picadas.
• Facts related to Loose Animals.
To report such security incidents, the citizen must enter the following information, as appropriate to the type of crime:
• Personal Data of the Complainant (not in all cases, some are anonymous).
• Facts about the event
• Description of the event
• And others.
The system will record the reported incident, and will provide the citizen with a tracking code for the complaint made that will allow him or her to verify its receipt at the assigned police station. It will also provide information to the complainant about said agency so that he can approach it, and continue with the formal process if the situation warrants it.
The application also allows you to view all the georeferenced police units on the Map of the Province of Chaco, with their respective contact information (telephone, email and address) so that the citizen has this information at their fingertips.
The application has a Notifications section where you can consult the most relevant news on Security matters that the Government of Chaco is publishing.
