Sadly, the best feature of this app has been removed... Previously, this app was very intuitive as it worked similar to a credit card and in case the amount of money in the app was too little, you could deposit the missing amount quickly. Now, you need to wait until the requested amount has been transferred to TWINT AG before you can use it. Why use this app then, might as well use a credit card or PayPal. Will wait until I used up the amount left and then deinstall. :(

It is very annoying that this app is exclusively for users with a swiss bank account. It can be pretty annoying and time consuming to find out you can not use the app for payments (e.g. at a parking place) if you are not from Switzerland. Verification (to recieve money via Swiss bank transfer) does also take to much time.

Dear Fabian, you can use TWINT Prepaid if you're a citizen of Switzerland, Germany, France, Liechtenstein, Italy or Austria and have a phone number from these countries. You can top up credit using credit codes (from Swiss post & Coop). When topping up via bank transfer, your account will be creditet 1 day after the value day of the transfer.

The app is good for transferring money to friends. But in store payments are too convoluted. Why can I not pay with NFC when terminal is compatible? I don't care that iPhone does not allow that, android does, take advantage! See Paylib French mobile payment app allows it
