The ParentVUE Mobile application helps parents stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into their child’s academic experience. ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones works with the Synergy™ student information system in much the same way as the ParentVUE web portal, allowing parents to access near real-time information on assignments and scores, attendance, and demographic information. ParentVUE offers parents a single sign-on to view all of their children’s information regardless of school.

NOTE: ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones is a free application for parents and guardians using the ParentVUE web portal.

How to find District URL:
 
The ParentVUE Mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal.  If you need help
please contact your School District’s Administration office for access URL and ParentVUE login information.
 

Requirements:

• Only school districts using the Synergy™ student information system version 6.5 and higher can support the ParentVUE for the Android phones application.
• Requires wireless or 3G Internet connection.
• The ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones app uses same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal. Please contact your School District’s Administration office to verify Synergy™ version and ParentVUE login information.

Ratings and reviews

This is just about the worst app I've used in the last few years. I have a list of issues, but perhaps my biggest one is not being able to easily identify which class an assignment belongs to on the Daily Assignments page. I have to go to Grade Book and select each class until I find it. This unintuitive design is just the start, but Google doesn't give me enough room in this review to go into more detail. I use ParentVue every day and absolutely dread opening this app.

This app is not easy to use. Emails are impossible to send because it has errors of hexidecimal (<) that is not entered in the email text. Because of this, I am not able to send emails to the teacher through this app. If I look at my child's grades and then click a specific class, the session is lost and I get an error and can't see their grades anymore until I log off and try again.

Terrible. Performance is sluggish across multiple high end phones. UI is clunky and made by a child. Notifications can't be customized and are spammed whenever the school wants. Website never works (login bugs galore), so you're stuck using the terrible app. Uninstalled. Don't care what the school was bribed to sign this contract.
