National platform for the standardized biological monitoring of the monarch butterfly in Mexico.
For the creation of the platform, an analysis of the monitoring protocol created by the CONANP, the identification and citizen science platforms in Mexico, as well as the existing platforms for monarch butterfly monitoring in the United States and Canada was carried out. This allowed us to identify successes and gaps in the existing tools and create a baseline for the development of the best platform proposal in terms of functionality, positive use experience and impact capacity.
