update: 5 years later and it still sucks. Works properly 10% of the time. Disconnects constantly. Especially irritating when fastforwarding or rewinding and you cant stop it until you reconnect again...every time. It is not my internet provider, and all of my other apps and devices have no issues. Not a great app. Currently it is no longer recognizingg my fire stick, and I have re-signed in and rebooted both several times.

Revised again. If only there was a zero rating. Will not even stay connected. Connects. immediately disconnects, connects, disconnects, etc. When rarely connected take 2 or 3 minutes to start a movie, if it ever does. Even then the movie will start pause 30 seconds, run, then pause again. A total waste of time. Amazon needs to get its head out of its . . . . . . Roku works fine.

This app is great, I live in a small apartment with two fire TVs and a single remote activates both TVs. There are two major issues that stop me from giving it a 5/5. 1) General bugs: that app will randomly stop working, adjust volume, or not connect 2) Automatically connects and turns on the last tv connected to. This is inconvenient, especially when my fiance is sleeping in the other room and opening the app turns on the TV in the bedroom to the ads on the TV, which are usually very loud.
