HomeBudget is an integrated expense tracker designed to help you track your expenses, income, bills-due and account balances. It offers support for budgeting and allows analysis of your expenses and income, including charts and graphs. Two key differentiating features of HomeBudget are:

1. Integrated set of features. The features within HomeBudget are well integrated such that a bill can become an expense (when you pay for it) and also adjust the account balance at the same time.

2. Family sync. HomeBudget includes Family Sync, an advanced feature that allows a group of devices within the household (Android, iPhone, iPad) to exchange expense and income information, and work together within a single budget. Once setup, the devices sync with each other automatically over the air. Family Sync works across all features including Bills and Accounts. Ratings and reviews

Love the basic functionality of the app, and that we can sync between my Mac, my wife's iphone and my Android. Three stars for the following: I would love to get a quick lookback for the month, instead of having to click through several steps. Also, love that you can reorder categories on the iPhone app; that needs to be carried over to the Android and Mac desktop apps!

Great app even with the few minor bugs needed. I own this app on every platform they offer and have used it for nearly 10 years. As an accountant I find it offers the most functionality with the most efficient interface of the ones I've tested. I use it daily and rely on it quite a bit. After switching from iOS to Android several months back I find it's more stable here than on Apple. It would have sync issues occasionally there but I've not really had any problems on Android. I agree with some of the other reviews that recurring entries can be an issue occasionally but deleting old legacy recurring bills/expenses and recreating them for me has seemed to fix any issues I had.

The best app I ever used. I've tried more accounting apps than I can count. With homebudget app I just pulled up the user guide and followed directions to set it up. Initially I was using it on iphone and ipad. I recenty switched to an Android phone. I was able to sync between my iPad and android phone easily and have had no problem with the software or the sync. I highly recommend this app. The users guide is exceptionally good and very easy to follow.
