About this app

A pedometer is normally a device that counts the number of steps taken by the person wearing it. It thus gives an indication of physical activity and an indication of the distance traveled by the wearer. To keep fit and work on your health this is now available on your mobile phone. So this is the walking and running app

Why is exercise important for your health?
To stay in shape and healthy, it is important that you get enough exercise every day. Walking or running is a good way to exercise. The purpose of this calorie counter pedometer is to help you take at least 10000 steps every day. So start walking and burning calories today and use this app for your health.

Extensive charts
In the graphs you can see your steps taken and calories burned. Track your progress by hour, day, week or month and see if you are doing well.

Low battery consumption
Using the built-in sensors in your phone, it can count your steps. So it is not necessary to use GPS. As a result, the battery consumption is very low. So it is a good app for walking and running. You can also use this app if you want to walk longer distances.

Set up the app properly in advance.
To convert steps to meters, the average step length must be entered. The stride length differs per person. So take a moment to adjust the settings. Set the stride length, gender and weight to get the best results. For example, you can create a personal training schedule for walking or running, for example.

Pretty bad ap. Seems to count steps fine, but won't link up to any tracking tools; My fitness pal, Castlight, etc. No settings tab to save battery usage or anything. Very basic, downloaded to synch to other aps. 2 stars is being generous.

Now that I've used this app for a few wks, it has stopped working. I have walked 2 days for over 1 1/2 miles. It did not register any of my steps. It has stopped working. There must be a better app. I tried it for awhile longer and it has continued to improve. Still not sure if steps are exact but it's closer than it was.

Thanks for your message. The app should work fine on your device. Please check if the app is not stopped by the battery saving mode of your device. Phone settings > Applications > select three dot menu (top right corner) > Special Access > Optimize Battery usage > Find Pedometer app on the list and make sure that it is not selected.

So far am not sure how I like/dislike this app. I like to watch the steps tic up as I walk but sometimes this app seems to be frozen and the steps do not increase for a while and when they do it is by one number.
