This is a really good dictionary and has served me well for the past 6 years. Recently however, searching for a word or phrase that isn't in the app dictionary via wordreference (or other) no longer works. Pressing the globe button to search outside the app now displays the message: "Cannot access the server. Please check your Internet connection."

Some English words in the American spelling etc. (fair enough for US users!), and a few reasonably common words missing from both languages. Very easy to use incl offline. A personal preference would be to have syllable stress indicated in the text, e.g. underscore the stressed one, as well as the helpful existing option to HEAR a word pronounced. Recommended for quick reference especially. I use it alongside 'Linguee' app (which functions best online). Definitely worth having. Didn't notice ads

Definitely worth the purchase, shows conjugations along with definitions for all the words I'd need to know and more! (Planning on studying abroad in Italy one summer, and definitely will have this app still installed!)
