Thought I was lucky at first when I installed the app and didn't have the problems other people were describing. That phase lasted a few weeks. Since then I've discovered that my thermostat refuses to keep the correct time when connected to the internet. Every few weeks it will update and change the time by several hours. I'm tired of waking up freezing in the morning because my thermostat thinks it's still midnight. The only way to prevent it is turning off wifi. I will never buy Bosch again!

For almost 2 years the app only connected maybe a 1/3 of the time. October/November 2023 I think, it started connecting all the time. Then Jan 2024, not sure the exact date, the thermostat itself will not connect to my Wi-Fi. I have lots of other things connected to the Wi-Fi that work fine... which I of course rebooted my router several times. And the router is literally right next to the thermostat. I'm going to call Bosch tech support tomorrow to see if they can help.

Update: Was able to get the app working again by going into the phone's settings, stopping the app, clearing all its data, uninstalling it, and then doing a fresh install. Ever since the latest server update, the app crashes. It's been temperamental even before then. I am about to replace my Bosch thermostats with something that isn't as error prone.
