I have been using Brave for years and nightly for as long as it's been available. All of a sudden I don't know what updates were done overnight but the app won't even open without crashing. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because I have tons of stuff bookmarked & saved that I have not linked to a profile to recover. Hoping they fix it ASAP, it's been like this all day 😔 *** corrected to 5 Star, after posting this there was another update available and everything is back 😁 thanks 🙏👍

LLMs are the future of searching, but the stale training data for Leo makes it less relevant than other Llama implementations you can find elsewhere. And of course, it's the censored model. For most people, it should be fine for mundane tasks. Not for power users. Does everything a browser should, easily. Checks all the boxes for quality UI design and feature implementation. The majority of the ad-riddled Orewelian Internet is actually usable, and the parts that aren't (like WSJ) I can ignore.

One of the best browsers out there! It would easily be the best if it had more customization to it, although Leo AI could use some major bug fixes and accuracy checks, as well. (Update: Brave freezes up for several seconds every time I launch it (with ALL settings enabled), and Leo AI doesn't work with the disable Javascript toggle enabled, and Brave Search settings keep resetting... 1 star for these issues.)
