About this app

Word App Pro is a word generator using the latest NWL 2023 and CSW21 word lists used in tournaments. It also has support for the older NWL 2020, OTCWL 2016, CSW19, CSW15, OTCWL 2018, OTCWL 2014, CSW12, SOWPODS and TWL06 word lists.
Easily check a word is valid for the selected word list. Search for words that can be made from entered letters, and more with multiple search types.

Note: the definitions feature of this Pro version uses a web service to retrieve the definition. Some words, especially the more obscure, may not have definitions available.

These words aren't really words / A common word is not included.

There are a great many words in use in the English language and I cannot hope to please everyone as to their definition of what is a word or not. The dictionaries offered to use are official word lists.

The word wont work in game X.

See above. It's not up to me to tell other developers which word list to choose. I think I've chosen the right ones.

It's not finding any words.

Do you have your search type set correctly for what you are trying to do? Chances are you want the 'Build' search type.

Ratings and reviews

I love it! I desperately need it to review past searches though! I would be so much better at remembering them if i could conveniently review them. Without keeping a history, the app has no soul! I'm losing my soul! Can I read offline with it? It mostly works offline, except not the definitions; I don't know what the free version does. Does the app have a dictionary? It has perfect word lists for REAL scrabble players (tournaments!) and by clicking a word, you can get a definition if online.

This is a great app for all scrabble fans and word puzzle fans. Easy and intuitive to use. A daily go to for me. Recommend it to all word gamers.

Any chance we can get an option to add a custom lexicon via a file/list? That would make this app infinitely more useful for other word games and other languages
