About this app

This is an icon that directly opens the settings for whatever live wallpaper is currently running, making it easy to quickly tweak a live wallpaper without having to navigate a bunch of menus.

It's called "LW Settings" in the app drawer.

For Android 7.1 and higher, there are also shortcuts to the Live Wallpaper Picker and the Screen Saver picker, available by long-pressing the icon in the launcher.

Live Wallpaper Settings shortcut is open source. You can view it here: https://github.com/CypherCove/LiveWallpaperSettingsShortcut

When I first installed this app, it worked as described but since upgrading to os 6.0, it doesn't take you to the live wallpaper that's running settings but takes you direct to the live wallpaper picker without having to long press but on the long press you can also reach the live wallpaper picker and the screensavers shortcut so works partly as described. Still a great app.

I'm giving five stars because the dev has taken a great idea and made it a realty. However on mt 8.0 LG V20 (Rooted) I cant make it work. If I try to run it directly, it pops up a screen with only a slider and nothing else. Have to hit my HOME key to get out of it. If instead I place a widget on my screen, the tap it, it throws an error "no wallpapers added" Help??

Last November, I upgraded to a OnePlus 9. LWPs ran normally on the initial OS, Oxygen OS 11 (based on Android 11). About 6 weeks ago, OnePlus upgraded my phone to Oxygen OS 12 (based on Android 12). Since then, it is not possible to configure or customize any LWP within the wallpaper picker. As a work around, I found that I could still configure some, but not all, LWPs by opening them in the app drawer. Now, with this handy little app, I can configure all of my LWPs. Thank you!
