straight up doesn't work on Android - crashes all the time - basic functionality like listening to an earnings call audio will crash - factset rep said it's a super complex issue to fix - this is supposedly a tech company that can't figure out how to play an MP3 without the app crashing? and now for months I can't get past the splash screen on my phone - app won't even open. pathetic product for a license that costs thousands of dollars.

Factset has made minimal effort to improve this app over the years. Very glitchy and unrefined. Functionality is probably 5% of the Facset workstation (actually, maybe 3%). It's basically and practically useless and I've had to rely on other sources while on the road or in transit.

Shortcomings: no watchlist newsfeed, portfolio news feed doesn't aggregate sources, portfolio view doesn't allow user defined fields nor does it understand long from short, watchlist off hour view doesn't help identify stocks moving after hours, and the worst is when it prompts for an emailed code to relogin but after toggling to email to get the code the process starts all over again. Ie, i am permanently locked out without a separate device to get my code. Please give me back the old version.

Thanks for the feedback, Greg Solomon. Watchlist news functionality is now available. Portfolio news now aggregates headlines across sources. We're working on additional Portfolio View customization functionality. Please provide any additional feedback you have directly in the app in the Menu section or by contacting support@factset.com.
