Ratings and reviews

Mostly works well. There have been a couple instances where I thought a recording saved, but then I would go to play it and it wasn't there. I can't explain what happened as I'm sure I recorded them and saved them :( 4/15/24 update: I'm getting very frequent instances of the audio in my recording cutting off after about a minute. Important conversations I needed to record for later are just not there. Simply can't use this app anymore.

Switched rating from 5 to 1 stars. On my last few recordings I discovered the hard way that the sound goes off one minute after the screen goes off. If you turn the screen back on the sound will start recording again, but I need to be able to record even when the screen is off. Also, when you end a recording a menu comes up. If you accidentally hit Delete (which is right next to the Back button on my phone) there's no prompt to confirm - it's just gone forever and then a loud ad starts playing.

I was using this app to record my university lectures so that I could review them later. What I did not know is that this app stops recording if you turn the screen off. I didn't realize this until I went to listen back to my recordings, they they were all silent. Dozens of hours of recordings that were completely lost because of a major flaw in the app. I am very disappointed, and I hope that the developer fixes this. For my part, my trust in this app is broken, and I will be uninstalling.
