They added more clicks to view items, where the old version you could have more cards front and center. Been playing with the new version putting the data I like back, and I don't see anything really new of value so far. Steps are gone? Would have liked to see and update where they kept the cards you had. Hopefully there are improvements on the back end of the app that are useful. Otherwise my perception so far is that they rearranged the furniture but in a way that you need to put some back.

Eta well they definitely made the switch and it's awful. This is not user-friendly. Takes way more clicks to see data. Bummer I hope the beta home screen is not the future because it's awful. I took myself out of beta just because I disliked it that much. I am not a fan at all. Keep the same functionality and visibility on the home screen. The in focus mode would be good to add as an OPTION, but not a requirement. Those of us who aren't raining for a race probably don't want the extra clutter.

They just updated the homescreen to make it "personalizable" but with the braindead limitation that the "at a glance" section can now only show up to 8 distinct metrics, so if you want to see the same set of metrics that the app used to show, you have to click through extra menus to find them. I don't want "Events", "Training Plans", "Challenges", I just want my homescreen to show ALL of the metrics I'm interested in without clicking through to more screens.
