About this app

Roam the unknown with the Tread® app. It lets you track up to 20 friends on the map of your smartphone and Tread® powersport navigator by using the Group Ride Mobile feature and syncs waypoints, tracks, routes and collections across devices. Easily plan routes on your smartphone with the same maps, vehicle profiles and route preferences you have on your Tread device. Users can import and export GPX files and get access to smart notifications and live weather.

Will update when fixed. Pixel 8 Pro - The app connects to XT2 via bluetooth successfully. The XT2 is still stuck in the "Searching for Garmin Tread App" screen. I have to hit cancel to get to the home screen on which the "T" shows up, but the device is not getting Traffic or Weather information from the phone. I must have reset the device and bluetooth connection at least a dozen times. Works with no issues on a iPhone 12.

This app is easy and quicker to use in regards to planning a trip versus using the Tread gps unit itself. Mainly because the smartphone is more responsive, which means plotting can be more accurate. After planning with this app, syncing is really quick, and there were no issues there.

Explore and this are similar, then I have earthmate for my InReach. Worst of all this isn't anything like Ultimate Campgrounds. They just bought the database and tossed the functionality. The beauty of UC was its filters. Unless I just haven't dug deep enough into Tread it appears that ability to filter campgrounds is gone. Garmin is missing the boat on this. Another example of a big company buying a successful small product and destroying it.
