This is the best translator app I've used. Most apps I've used never pick up handwriting, but if the handwriting is clear enough, it does occasionally pick up. It NEVER seems to read pictures with only one word. It has to be a full sentence. For example, it won't read 雨 from a picture when it's by itself. If I take a picture of 「そうそう、今日は雨です！」it will most likely read. I know it's a robot and not a real person translating, so it's obviously not going to be perfect. It's pretty good for a robot.

Damn good application, I am learning Arabic but I use this to translate a book I want to read and am not ready for, with other apps and dictionaries, but I need this more than anything to compare possible translation of whole sentences, as each app usually gives different results, you can get a sense of what is said before you translate it accurately, word by word. I'd be lost without it, although I need it less and less, I would use it if I were fluent, because it is very easy. 1 of a kind.

Great app; my favorite translator to use when checking my Spanish syntax since I can't get so many translations at once with any other app, however I paid the $14.01 for the full features, which is quite steep for what the app does, and I can understand why some are frustrated by the limitations of the free version. The UI leaves much to be desired, is a bright white and lacks any customizable settings. I would like to see more UI updates considering the money that I paid.
