About this game

The Devourer is always hungry and it’s your job to feed it in this idle merge game mashup. Play as the NecroMerger and use dark magic to summon an army of creatures (skeletons, zombies, demons, banshees… the list goes on). Merge them from piddly little grunts into massive (and tasty) brutes, before feeding them to your ever hungry pet.

As you grow your Devourer you’ll attract the attention of merchants, champions and even rivals. Some can be useful, others must be fought… or fed to your insatiable pet. The bigger the Devourer grows the more your lair will expand and you’ll unlock powerful abilities and spells.

Complete feats to unlock new stations and equipment… graves, altars, fridges and even a bathtub to hold excess slime. New stations will let you summon new, stronger (and even more tasty) creatures. Manage your lair and minions to maximize your resource generation.

Ratings and reviews

By far the best merge game I've played. Art style is amazing, unlocks feel satisfying to get, and saving up coins and gems (in-game payable currencies you can earn) to buy upgrades feels satisfying as well. Almost everything in the game can be earned through just playing. The only thing I'd say is a must buy in this game is for no ads -- which is about $9.00 USD. It makes the daily flow of the game feel much smoother and saves you a lot of time if you plan on playing regularly.

I've been playing this game for almost two years straight now. Not even committed, just for fun. No money in, just playing. My first 8 months or so playing I had basically no internet connection (dl'd b4 i left) and it's still fun that way. The minigames have great variety between "I don't want to look away from this" and "I just wanna look occasionally"

Great game! although the adds are annoying, rather than being constant pop ups, they become tools to refill your mana. the gameplay is fluid and satisfying, but gets broken up by intentional lack of resources to ensure you don't get too burned out. Including through multiple days. this game has plenty for you to do and I'm not going to spoiler anything because just finding stuff is half the fun. Great game 9/10 because it still has adds and microtrasactions.

What's new

+ Added the “Eaten” theme. This theme is set inside the Devourer. You must have unlocked the Architect to purchase it. It gives Decorations for Blood Runes and Cosmic Runes.
+ Decorations give slightly more runes.
+ Unicorns max lvl any minion they merge with. They now have a 30% chance of coming from a lvl 2 Prism. Prisms charge slightly faster.
+ The Unstable Rift now summons a few surprises.
+ Warning for the Body Snatcher (this must be turned on from the warnings page).
+ Bug fixes.
