How to use Handcent Anywhere:



On your cellphone: slide to the right to open the navigation drawer, tab Handcent Anywhere. In it, turn on Handcent Anywhere, give your cellphone a name.(you can use multiple cellphones, but only one device can be used at a time) This will be the ID when you try to connect on the web. (When you have more than one cellphones(numbers), each one should have a unique name)



On your android device(tablet or another Android phone):

Open the Handcent Anywhere on your Android device, Make sure the Handcent Anywhere is enabled in your cellphone, select the phone you want to use on the web. Now you can start texting. Also, don’t forget to upload your contacts to our server, otherwise all your contacts will be shown in number format.

Handcent Anywhere is also available on web(aw.handcent.com available on any computer), and iPad/iPhone.

I installed this to send out messages to a large group of people without 'chat' mode. Worked fine, and has variables so I could personalize the messages. It was great while it lasted, but then it disappeared from my phone all by itself. Only found it in playstore after several tries. Disappearing apps make me uncomfortable, so I uninstalled it. sorry to see the batch texting go, but....

I've used handcent/next for years. It suddenly disappeared, and Handcent says they fixed it, but it is still not showing up in the Play store. I went to the website and it only provides a broken link. My app is messing up, so I need to uninstall, reinstall. Problem is if I uninstall I won't be able to reinstall. This has been going on for a while now. I'd rather not move to a different app but I may have to.

I thought I had accidently removed the handcent app from my homepage and went to find it, and it had disappeared altogether. I have used handcent for at least six or seven years if not more, and I've never had an issue. Now I'm stuck using the factory messenger, and it sucks. All the pretty bells and whistles are gone. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
