★ How can I prevent AppLock to be uninstalled?
Firstly you should lock all critical apps. Secondly, you should activate "Hide Icon" in the preferences tab.

★ Why permissions are required?
AppLock contains advanced features. All necessary permissions are required to implement advanced features. For example, "Photos / Media / Files Permissions" is required to select a background image.

★ What should I do if I forget my password?
You can set a new password by using your secret answer.

★ How can I hide pictures and videos?
If you lock the Gallery app then, intruders can not see your photos and videos.

★ How works the spy camera feature?
When the intruder enters the password incorrectly 5 times, the secret answer screen is shown. After answering the secret answer, a photo from the front camera is taken & saved to the gallery.

Ratings and reviews

Great app if I left my phone to someone that I wanted to not access specific apps. But one thing that annoys me is how even after disabling/stopping it from running in the background, it still opens over other apps counted in the locked category. I just wish I'd have more control over whether I want the app to be working now or not. Also hate how the ads randomly pop up and there isn't an easy x-button without launching me to the playstore from a misclick. Please work on this. Thank you.

This is a great app except for a major flaw. Using at moto edge+ 2022, whenever the phone is rebooted, all of the locked apps become unlocked. The only way to lock them again is to open Applock Pro, then all of my locked apps are locked again. This seems like a major security problem with this app. Also, I cannot find where to lock th uninstall lock feature in settings. I have email, but have not received a response. As of Feb 2024 ads have returned- Subscription is now required! No way!

Great app, but Don't Lock Youtube!! For months I've been trying to figure out why youtube suddenly paused immediately any time I tried playing a video. It would play shorts, I could download, and I could click thumbnails but it wouldn't play. Turns out, EVEN if applock wasn't currently active / locking apps, it caused aforementioned bug with youtube. Regardless, great app otherwise!
