Malpensa app turns into Milan Airports, the new official app of Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa airports.

Milan Airports keeps you up to date on the status of flights departing from or arriving at Milan airports and provides high speed browsing free of charge at Linate and Malpensa airports.

Thanks to Milan Airports, you can receive push notifications that keep you informed in real time and access a personal area, where at any time you can consult and manage your ViaMilano Program card and use the parking, fast-track, VIP lounge and baggage wrapping tickets purchased online in the app or on www.viamilanoeshop.eu.

Here are the main features:

- Flight tracking: real-time information via push notifications, for flights both in departure as well as in arrival, on the status of your flight, estimated and actual time of landing and departure, flight time, baggage claim carousel, check-in area and gate number, weather conditions and currency of the place of interest.

- Immediate and exclusive assistance for app owners: real time chat with Customer Care operators and "call me back" service to be contacted by phone at no extra cost in case of need.

- Renewed shopping experience and use of paperless tickets: possibility to purchase the main airport services in a simple manner. The tickets purchased will be automatically available in the personal area of the app without the need for paper receipts.

- Dedicated promotions: offers and discounts conceived exclusively for users logged into the app.

- Plan your travel experience at the airport: with Milan Airports you can plan your journey to and from the airport down to the last detail, choose the preferred means of transport and obtain customised information and alerts to help you reach the airport in time.

- Shops&Food: a complete and updated list of shops and restaurants at Linate and Malpensa airports with the offers available in each store.

- Useful information: baggage regulations, regulations for passengers with reduced mobility, information on how to reach the airport and where to park, traffic updates also via webcam, information on Milan local public transport and rail services and weather reports.

Ratings and reviews

Notifications don't work. Allows you to use the app unregistered, buy then you get a generic error while trying to select a flight to track. Offers you to register using Facebook, but FB doesn't allow that way anymore. Alerts you about your flight using scheduled time instead of the new expected time when delayed. All considered, almost useless.

Nothing works, can't register, can't sign in, Facebook sign in is deactivated and web admins apparently don't do anything to fix it. A confusing menu that leads nowhere. But maybe the reading reason of most of these problems is that their website is down today!?

I registered, no mail received for confirmation. I try to login: the user is no active. I try to resend the confirmation email: not possible. I try to register again: the user already exists, please login. I try to reset the password: the user is no active... What an hell of application!!!
