MITFCU requires changing your password every six months, but the app does not work well with password managers. I must manually copy in my password from my password manager everytime. This is encouraging poor security practices. Mobile check deposit is finicky and slow. No other bank/cu app is this clunky. These two issues are a pain for me and keep me from using the app more. I only use it for check deposits- website for the rest. For a nearly online-only cu, the app needs to be better.

I have been using this app for several months probably closer to a year now. For the last two days I am unable to access the bill pay portion of the app. It just says we are unable to provide this information please try again later. A call to mitfcu provided no help at all. It was said that bill pay has been removed from the app! Seriously! That is unacceptable. All features that users need should be readily available. I see no update available either.

The check deposit feature (which is the primary reason I use the app) is horrible. It takes around 10 minutes of repeated photographs to deposit a check since their algorithms repeatedly fail to detect endorsements, corners of the check, numbers, etc. If I knew mobile deposit would be this bad, I would never have joined this credit union.
