This is the best free hurricane app I've ever used. I still use it even after moving away from Florida up to NC. It's small and loads quickly, info is accurate, and ads are unobtrusive. Obviously you'd want the NOAA site for mega details but this is perfect for keeping up with basic conditions and relevant forecasts/warnings as well as tropical storm development throughout the Atlantic.

I am (and have been since I was about 11yrs of age) a Huge Weather hobbyist! This Awesome App provides All the info that you could possibly need in a Very Easily read format. Before the end of each May I Always ensure to get this app downloaded for my Home Screen. It is a MUST for Anyone who has ANY concerns about the weather in the Tropics!! I have purposely tried other similar apps. There isn't ONE that even comes close to the News 6 Hurricane Tracking app! Absolutely the BEST!! Thanks Tom!

Application could be improved if it pinpoint message is focused on tropical weather as separate application exist for nominal weather reports. It would also be improved if most recent weather report given on TV was also avaliable. More radical improvement would merge regular and tropical weather into a single application with seperate local and tropical tabs. Then relevant info could be linked to their pages. Tropical update still needs the video content improvement in either configuration.
