With the [k] to go app, the mobile phone screen becomes the stage for a changing program that is produced by various international artists specifically for this medium. As long as the theater remains temporarily closed and even if the doors are open again, the audience can experience new performances individually while strolling around the extensive Kampnagel site, and now also in other cities. The app specifies the route and twelve markers indicate the places where augmented reality performance videos start using image recognition. Kampnagel in Hamburg is a world-famous international production house that presents contemporary theater, dance and performance as well as concerts, conferences and a large number of different festivals and thematic focuses. The work of international artists and those of the local Hamburg scene are shown on the six Kampnagel stages in the halls of a former crane factory.
