Despite what you see in some reviews, this app does have a lot of music available and it does allow you to favorite albums. It's not perfect, search can be difficult, especially because jointly produced tracks are not broken down into multiple artists. Additionally, some tracks are only available through download, and these tracks can generally only be found by looking at the 'also seen on' pt of the artist's page. They also have a problem with failing to label explicit track versions.

William, thanks for the feedback. We try our best to provide a quality product. Thanks for the review. As a note on explicit music, the labels make that determination and we just pass that through to you. Don't hesitate to send us an email at support@help.libraryideas.com and we see what we can do to help or resolve an issue.

If you can't or won't pay for one of the many streaming services out there, and your library offers it, it's a great choice to use to stream music for free. 1 thing I miss is support for Chromecast. It's my understanding that they have most or all of the Sony catalog. I tend to like more obscure music, but my choices are here.

If you thought this sounded too good to be true, you were right. The streaming features are not well developed - eg, they mark explicit songs, but provide no way to block them automatically - and the catalog for downloads is extremely limited. I'm only keeping the app installed because I think I might be able to build up a decent classical catalog through their downloads. Maybe. We'll see.

Emily, wish we could have gotten a better review. We try our best to provide the best to our participating libraries. Allowing for explicit music is defined by the library. If you would rather not see them, I suggest contacting your library and requesting they turn off explicit songs.
