New user impression? A little too basic. It has been years since I've had health insurance but my previous provider (ahm) had a really great app and that was going back at least 6 years ago now. I'd like to see how long I have left on my waiting period. Also, something as simple as a google map with all of the HBF member plus providers listed on it would be great. Currently, users are taken out of the app to the search page of the HBF website.

The app has all the relevant info I need about my policy. I like checking my claims and what amounts I have left. The only downside is that the virtual HBF card that is available in the app doesn't always scan on the HICAPS machines. I can make a claim via the app, but the claim takes up to 7 days to be processed. Apps can only improve, and this one is starting off good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

the biggest problem is you cannot put a note while you claim extras. If you are claiming appliances for example with a physio claim which was given benefit for. basically a claim should have an option to put a note to clearly indicate what you are claiming. This avoids a lot of back and forth in extras and other claims
