About this app

The Kitchen Calculator app by MyKitchenCalculator.com is a tool that includes a recipe converter (recipe multiplier), cooking references, and several conversion calculators that help you easily convert between the most common measuring units used in cooking and baking.

The recipe converter tool allows you to scale, multiply, divide, or portion your recipes to the serving size you desire. Easily convert recipes to your desired serving size by typing in (*or copying and pasting*) the ingredients from your favorite online food blogs or recipe sites.

*Note: Due to the nature of text formatting, the copy and paste function may not work directly for some websites and certain mobile browsers.

The ingredient unit converter tool allows you to convert by ingredient between volume and weight units, such as cups and grams. Choose from more than 250 of the most common ingredients, such as butter, eggs, flour, and sugar!

The tool also includes basic conversion calculators for Volume, Weight, Length, Energy, Time, and Temperature. For most conversions, you can directly type in fractions as an input value, such as "1 1/2" or "3/4". The tool also keeps a history of your past conversions.

In addition to conversion calculators, the app has a Gas Mark reference and a cooking temperature references that allows you to quickly look up information about cooking temperatures for meat, candy, and other dishes.

Take the power of recipe conversion with you by downloading this app. MyKitchenCalculator.com, recipe conversion made easier!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this app functions. The list of ingredients for weight conversion was extensive. The ability to copy and paste recipes into the recipe converter is a great feature. I found the scaling of recipe ingredients is more accurate using weight than volume. A useful addition to the cooking temperature feature would be bakery items for bread, muffins, etc. This app is most certainly worth the small price you pay.

Installed for the weight/volume converter. Unfortunately it's pretty clunky. It's a good concept and but needs improving. I expected to add a recipe & it convert weights & measures of the majority of ingredients automatically, based on my output selection (understanding that some manual intervention might be needed to assist the AI). This app makes you manually select an ingredient then manually select the input and output unit and rinse and repeat. It's quicker to Google. Uninstalled.

Hello Vanessa. Thank you very much for the feedback. Unfortunately, AI is still a little premature to automate these types of tasks because there are a lot of different variations on how people write their recipes. If we can find a way to make this easier, we'll try to include it in an update in the future.

I've used this app for years to convert individual measurements. Love it, five stars. But I decided to use the recipe converter today, and I can't find out how to make it do the conversion. The text is pasted in, the numbers highlighted, now what? The tutorial skips from "fill out all the things" to "after the conversion is complete..." How do I complete it?! There is no button! šŸ˜
