Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ratings and reviews

10 years later, dropping my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. Portal saturation has vaporized the notions of strategy and collaboration and turned the gameplay into pure grind. Introduction of a Red Faction gave hope for something rejuvenating, but turned out to be a nothingburger. Extracting subscription fees is now the #1 priority of the devs, not game balance or innovation or user experience. Oh, also hate that I can't preview items before picking them up anymore on Android! Only iOS. 🤷

Game play remains lopsided, due to the player base leaving. So most of the small numbers of new players end up joining whichever team is stronger in the area that play, increasing the poorly balanced teams and pushing more players out of the game, in a vicious circle. Niantic also fails to enforce their own rules, leading to an increase in players who just ignore the rules entirely. I would never recommend a new player to pick up Ingress. Also crashes several times daily. Would rate lower.

Started playing this game in 2014 but never really deep dived into what was going on or how to play till recently and 10 years later I'm at level 4 and catching up on everything I missed over the years but so far since I started actually playing its been interesting trying to figure out whats happened. This game requires you to get out and venture earth so if you can't move around too much it's slow to progress.

• Added the Handbook to the Main menu to help new Agents get started with Ingress.
• Fixed issue where the hack results screen doesn’t close after drone hacking.
• Fixed issue where only the first bounty was visible on the DAILY tab.
