About this app

Orange Phone is a free application that replaces the calling button of your smartphone (dialler) and allows you to detect and block unwanted calls, identify unknown numbers (reverse directory), check call prices to premium rate numbers, and much more.

Spam protection
No more wondering whether to pick up or not a call from an unknown number. The spam filter lets you easily identify malicious and telemarketing calls before picking up.
You can also automatically block hidden numbers and unwanted calls (robocalls and scam) to put an end to unwanted calls once and for all.

In 2022, the Orange Phone app has identified more than 200,000,000 spam calls.

Know who's calling
Thanks to our partnership with Infobel, the Orange Phone app identifies unknown numbers that call you before you answer the phone.

Find out the cost of calling premium numbers
You don’t know if the number you are about to call is a premium rate number or not? Before making the call, the Orange Phone app let you check the cost of calling special numbers to avoid bad surprises. An estimation of the total cost will also be displayed during the call.

Quick access to emergency numbers
In case of emergency, the app helps you to call the right number wherever you are!
The list of the emergency numbers (police, fire brigade or ambulance) is accessible directly from your dialpad in more than 200 countries around the world.
The app also displays your exact location so you can provide it to the emergency services when placing an emergency call.

Ratings and reviews

Nice app, rather well designed, with several very useful features, but there is one big "but" : the app is not compatible with the "Smart cover" (transparent book-like lid), it doesn't show the "answer/reject" button when the cover lid is closed, neither does it show a "Hang up" button during an active conversation; it is a huge downside vs the original calling app. Please fix. // Huawei p10lite, Android 8.0. And no, I won't contact directly the support service. Thanks for your cooperation ;)

Great App, but could be slightly better. You must set as your default call handling app. The improvement: I'm using it on a dual SIM phone. With the native call handler I can set a default SIM for each number. This app doesn't pick that up, so I have to choose a SIM every time I call. I get so many unsolicited calls, and this app gives me the confidence to reject them. I can put up with selecting the SIM every time, though adding the feature would be perfect. Thank you.

Quite good. A very bad thing is that if you reject a call with a predefined message, you won't see the call in the call log, it's like it never existed. LE: indeed, this option was not checked, but it's interesting it exists. Is anyone really using it (not wanting to see rejected calls)? Maybe you could separate 2 options, one for numbers not in the phonebook and one for refracted calls.
