The Parent App, is a bespoke smartphone application which allows parents to stay in touch with their child’s school, on the go.

The Parent App helps keep parents updated on school issues such as closures and important dates to remember.

The Parent App has a number of features including:

* School Contact Details

The Parent App has class-specific notifications, allowing you to select one or more classes and only receive information that is relevant to you and your child. This is easily selectable on the app's first launch.

Ratings and reviews

A good idea but VERY poorly implemented. For example, I get summary notifications but when I tap on them, they just open the app - I can't find the detail anywhere. Selecting relevant school years does not filter the news at all. School holidays are plain wrong - I know they get more than one day off over Christmas, for example! Some really useful stuff is just missing - exam dates, for example. Basically, this app is waste of time. If I could, I'd give this minus several million stars...

Poorly designed app. Can't open news and keep updated with my child's school without it crashing. Disappointing

Couldn't even find my daughter's school in the search engine, therefore cannot even attend her parents evening!!!! As NOW everything has to be done through this stupid app!!!!
