Tbh, surprisingly well designed mechanics, I don't often review games but this game is a gem, from the retro design to the ability to progress without spending. This game reminded me that not all games require 'energy' to start a run, easy 5☆ rating, they easily could've locked alot of the content behind a pay wall and didn't. The achievements and unlock pages give the player something to pursue.

Amazing game and amazing content for a f2p game. This is how you port a game to mobile. Bravo poncle and Co! Though I will say that I wish the control stick wouldn't stop moving once a screen pops up. I've been killed so many times due to holding the stick in a direction and using another finger to navigate the power up or arcana menu only to return to play and be still, despite never letting go of the stick. 4 stars until that is fixed, otherwise you won't find a game with this much content.

Amazing mobile port of a great pc game, excellent value and the ads are 100% optional. Hours of free content but if you finish and want more, all the dlc is also great value. Can't recommend it highly enough. Gameplay is simple to pick up but has surprising depth, focused mostly on playing the odds and tipping them in your favour as you learn more about the game. Meta progression keeps things interesting with new and varied unlockable characters, stages and power-ups.
