About this app

** We are aware of performance issues when deleting and modifying files on some devices, and are looking into ways to speed things up while maintaining high reliability **

Storage Analyzer is a tool to help visualise and manage the space used on your phone, tablet, or Chromebook. The information is presented in a simple manner to make it easy to understand where your space has gone.

It lists the storage areas and devices available on your phone or tablet including internal storage, SD cards and attached devices such as hard drives, and shows the total and used space on each. You can then scan each one and view them in detail, and delete files which are no longer needed or move files around to manage your free space.

Pro users can also now scan their installed apps to see which are taking up lots of space, and can then go straight to the app's settings to clear data or uninstall the app (where possible).

Storage analyzer has no popup or full screen ads, and is easy to use.

I've used this on and off for a while and I find it pretty good. One issue I've noticed is that it requests SAF access to analyze USB drives, which is very slow, despite having All Files Access and detecting attached USB drives just fine without SAF. I don't think this extra step should be necessary at all.

the latest update is really bad, before that when I double tap on any folder I could got into it but now just get highlighted and when tap again it returns to first position without anything happen. you put a button on top of the app to do the double tap but I gotta tell you that is awful

Sorry you're experiencing issues with the latest version. Double tapping should still be working - if you could get in touch with us directly (rjhartsoftware@gmail.com) we can try to work out what the issue is and get it fixed ASAP.

I gave an extra star because maybe I don't understand something everyone else seems to get. There's not much use analysing if there's nothing being done about it. Compared to the other apps available it's unnecessarily complex in its delivery of simple enough information. As I say, an additional star has been awarded for my ignorance.
