Graphite is a STL and GCode model viewer for Android. It allows you check your 3D models for printing on the go and enables you do simple editing without being on your computer. Graphite is currently the only GCode enabled app on the Google Play Market that allows you to view the calculated printing paths in the palm of your hand. This makes Graphite the perfect mobile companion to your 3D printer.

Graphite's user interface is built upon the Android 4 interface and includes well known gestures for simple model navigation. You can also customize the viewing space to fit with your own 3D printer. Scale the virtual groundplane to the size of your printer and you instantly know how big your print is going to be. In GCode mode you can step through all printing layers and display empty printing paths.

Please not that only GCodes for additive 3D printers with one print head are supported. CNC Router GCode is not supported by Graphite.

Ratings and reviews

Does not work as described. The app will not link to my thingiverse account. I can log in on the web browser pop up and authorize the app through thingiverse no problem. However when it gets to the "fetching" point it simply refreshes after about 5 min of trying to load. Really disappointed that I'm not getting the features that were promised with the 99c in app upgrade.

Just what I need to browse stl's on my phone. I'm building a Herome gen7 print head assembly for my Ender 3 pro and this app lets me quickly look at the many files needed and sort through the vast library offered to find what I need. App is quick to load and easy to use. Grab this program and don't look back.

Opened file on Android phone just fine. Shows the print bed and toolpath, very interesting. Multiple view options like top bottom side. Shows the model size volume and time to print. Only tried a small model not sure about larger models.
