Overall this app is a nice improvement on the old version. But there are a few issues I would like to see resolved. First, if wifi is down, the app gives an error message that is meaningless to the user. Check for wifi and give a meaningful error message so the user can deal with the real problem. Second, if the user does not go all the way out of the current edition, the current edition will not show when opening the app the next day. Always show the current edition!

This is the worst news app I have ever used. It often just doesn't work (i.e., I click on a story and nothing happens). The format ("we're a paper newspaper, just like we always were!") just doesn't make for a good searching or reading experience. I got access for $9 for 9 months, and I still don't think that it was worth it.

Horrible app. The original worked great. This one sucks. Would give it negative 5 stars if I could. Been using this now for a few months. Still horrible. You try to open one section to read, and it opens something entirely different. Sometimes it won't open the section at all. One would think that they would have fixed it by now.. Needless to say, I won't be renewing my digital subscription once it expires. Don't think that they'll care though.
