On upgrading to a more recent phone, security software says this is a "low reputation app", because it can: • access contacts. • locate your device and track you. • take pictures or create videos without your knowing. • access all your documents, photos, movies and downloaded files. • modify and encrypt, replace or delete files like documents, photos, or movies. • stay active, draining the battery, when the device is locked. Why all these permissions for a banking app?

The app is convenient and offers some good features, but I consistently have to log in twice to access my account using fingerprint recognition. A first world problem, but it was annoying and non-functional just the same. Edit: No problems with the site. I use it often from my mobile.

App camera will not focus in on my checks. It used to work fine. Tried uninstalling- reinstalling the app, and was able to deposit one check last month. Today uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. The camera seems to have a varying fixed focus, one time so close that I couldn't get the whole check in, another time so far away the print was too small to read. I am trying it in bright light against the dark background, using a Google Pixel. Camera phone works fine, as does another bank app.
