From the makers of the Persona series, Shin Megami Tensei Liberation Dx2 is the latest entry in the three-decade-long Megami Tensei video game franchise; bringing its dark themes, thrilling battles and mysterious storylines to life, to mobile platforms!

Take on the role of a Devil Downloader, also known as a Dx2.
Dx2s are able to summon and command demons using a special smartphone app.

Led by a mysterious man, you gain access to this special app and become a member of the Liberators, a secret organization that fights to protect the world from an opposing faction of Dx2s.

The enemy is known only as the Acolytes.

Driven by their own ideology, the Acolytes abuse their demon-summoning capabilities to wreak chaos, and are secretly eliminating people with high empathy quotients (EQ) who pose a threat to their goals.

Game black screens after intro since this recent update. Made a lot of progress, spent some good coin, and I'll be quite upset if this isn't rectified. Glad I didn't buy the monthly pass. Else, I love this game. Great art, good strategy, terrible monetization and story like most other games, but can be overlooked due to the regularity of events and sheer amount of content to process. EDIT: Uninstalling and re-installing fixed the issue. Good thing I recorded my transfer info.

I'm a lover of the persona games. This is such a treat if you are a fan like I am. It really is like playing the console version but with some changes. You don't move freely and it's a classic stage by stage battle system. Still though, very much enjoyable and not at all impossible to get good personas. It is a pricy game though so if you are looking for a game to pay to win in, this one might hurt your bank account.

While the game seems like it might be enjoyable, the tutorial is far too intrusive. After clearing what I thought was the tutorial, and getting rewards for clearing it, I still cannot play without this game holding my hand (Example: Cleared the "Party" mission, but then I'm forced to only use the predetermined "random draw" and the game kicks me back to the title for attempting to use the other demons). I wanted to play a game, not follow instructions for an hour. This is SMT, right?
