Super useful find when our rental car's CD player didn't work so we couldn't use our tried and true Craig Henderson "Road to Hana" CD. it does require downloading the app AND the in-app purchased tour so you can use it in data blackout areas, so knock it out before starting your trip. it uses GPS to automatically queue up the factoid/advice which was cool. But my point of frustration is (aside from it not being Craig) the music played on occasion even when we had toggled it to turn off.

Not worth $20. I did my research on what to see, and I'm glad we did because the app glossed over or didn't even mention some sights. The Hana lava tube wasn't mentioned on the way there, then recommended to skip it. This is one of the best attractions. It also skipped over sights, so we had to physically tap on them to get the app to tell us about them. It's not seemless, you need to monitor it, or else you'll miss stuff, which defeats the purpose of purchasing it. This app needs improvements.

Many places described now have no parking signs. You can't stop to see these sights at all. Also, it needs more description of what is coming up rather than just saying the name. This would help make better decisions on what to see. Some sights were glossed over or not even mentioned. Plus, it didn't work with other features on my phone. If I took a picture, the app stopped, and I had to start it again. The stories on the way back were nice. More variety of Hawaiian music would make it better.
