Fitting a stairway in the tight, narrow area I had available was very difficult. The app allowed me to try many different configurations quickly to see if it would fit within code. I used one of the configurations and everythingworked out as predicted by the app. I messaged the creator and asked if he could add an inside dimension option for winder steps and he replied he would asap. I should have also asked him to add top and bottom flooring Dimensions, so that could be predicted as well

This is a great app if you're building a staircase. Simply enter a few measurements and let the app calculate the rest for you. It calculates the angles and stair measurements, enabling you to easily know how much wood you need to purchase. It's very helpful, especially for beginners and those not familiar with building staircases. It even comes with several types of staircases to start with.

It is extremely limited to the styles and designs of the stairs. It doesn't allow winder and bullnose last step. It is only for straight-style staircases. Not professional about this app rather than giving simple calculations if you know what I mean
