WCPE is a wonderful classical music station run mostly by volunteers. The announcers are delightful, particularly because they are live. There are occasional technical glitches, but nothing that can't be fixed and forgiven. Our local public station effectively abandoned us by moving its transmitter so far away that we can't receive the signal. WCPE solved that problem for us!

Great station. I grew up in Raleigh, NC and have listened to WCPE all my life. So glad there is an app. However, unless I am clueless in navigating the app, when you are streaming music live, it should always have a 'Now Playing' description at all times on the app. Sometimes it is there with piece, composer, orchestra, etc...and then other times you can't access it(?) no matter which drop down or button you select, and the home page only shows 'this week and next week's music, etc. Help!

I love the idea of being able to stream classical music without having to go through my web browser. Installed this app after hearing it recommended on the live stream... I tried to open the app and play music three times; each time the app crashed within 15 seconds. I'm not going to go on a rant, but all the bells and whistles in the world are worthless if base functionality is forgotton. Uninstalling, maybe try again later.
