If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The old version of the app worked fine. Now I have to allow the app access to my location for it to even open to transfer photos to my phone or computer. My location is none of Sony,'s business and is certainly not necessary to transfer files by NFC, bluetooth, or wifi. Thanks for a worthless product Sony!

Can wirelessly control the basic functions of many Sony cameras and camcorders. So, instead of having to buy a remote, which is from $30 to $90, for each device, this app control them all and has real good distance because wifi instead of Bluetooth. But I wish it was named "Sony Cam Control" or something like that. I have the app and forgot what the f*** it was when I needed it 6 or 8 months later. Another wish: have the option to smooth, slow, super slow zoom (different speeds)

No longer supported by Sony. Very buggy. Eventually Sony will migrate to the Creator App but my camera, ZV-E10 is not on the list so their website says to keep using this app. I have to do a fresh connection every time I want to remote control my camera. Very annoying. The location via Bluetooth will not connect even though the camera says my BT is connected. Sony, why drop support while you require users to still use this app for remote control on some of your cameras? Makes no sense.
