About this app

Flashlight is free, intuitive and easy to use torch app for Android. Our app uses the built-in camera LED flash and provides the brightest light as possible. If your device doesn't have a flash, then you can use the white screen mode.
For quick access you can use the status bar buttons (available in notification area) or click the flashlight widget on your homescreen.
Walk in the dark, visiting dark basement, no electricity at home or looking for something under the bed - in these and other unexpected situations our flashlight always helps you!

Some other apps provide the ability to produce a flashing light, which I cannot imagine needing, but also too easy to turn on accidentally, which is annoying. This app gives you the choice of using the camera flash on the back like other apps, but also gives you the option of emitting white light from the screen, which is much easier on eyes. I prefer it to using the camera flash. Thank you.

At least THIS app works. Tried two others closer to the front of the list, pretty, colorful screens... absolutely useless on my Android phone and took up far more storage. This app, simple on/off. It's a FLASHLIGHT, not a kaleidescope, disco stobe like the more complicated other apps. Thank you for making this short, sweet and direct!

It's a torch on a phone so it will only be as good as the phones flash etc, so the reason for the bad review is this, I only ever use a torch in situations I can't see, some of these situations have been pretty time sensative, luckily I had an actual torch, because regardless of the consequences of no light this app thought an add would be more helpful than the ability to be able to see.
