About this game

You must travel west as you take the role of a Mormon pioneer in the 1800's.

We all know the story of the Oregon trail, with their constantly broken wagons, easily caught diseases, and action-movie amounts of bullets.

We've all traveled the Oregon Trail, but have YOU ever traversed the Mormon Trail?

The Mormons, due to persecution and suffering, left Nauvoo in 1847. Many were unprepared for a many month-long journey in the harshest of winters, and the hottest of summers. Are you prepared to take this journey to Salt Lake?

Oregon trail too easy for you? Mormon Trail gives you the option to start in England, New York, or Nauvoo.

You must:
Hunt for food
Fight diseases like dysentery, measles, and cholera, just like in Oregon Trail
Manage your money wisely. One wrong purchase could be your demise.
Make wise trades to keep your objects safe.
Make it to landmarks in order to get supplies.


Not all of the Mormons who left for Salt Lake made it there alive.

It's basically just Oregon Trail. No Mormon stuff. No medicine, so once someone gets sick there's really nothing you can do but rest and hope for the best. Hunting is point-and-click, where tapping the character shoots and tapping anywhere else aims, but you can't shoot through objects (including grass) and you can't reposition from what I can tell. Entertaining if you want a simple game to play repeatedly and master, but not much of an experience in its own, in my opinion.

I liked it. After reading the reviews I knew how to hunt but it can be a little difficult to see with your thumbs in the way. Maybe just a 'shoot' button on the side? And tap wherever to aim? The 100lbs for food does suck a little bit but it's just like when I was a kid. But maybe they could consume less instead of adding more lbs to carry.

even if you're owed more than you're spending you do not get that back as cash. very close to the original Oregon trail game we played in 5th grade but quite a few issues need resolved like the trade deals and buys/sales at the check points. from what I've seen u can only buy when u have food or goods to sell and the money doesnt stay there when u sell more than you buy. it always starts with zero cash at every stop that u can purchase from soooooooo frustrating but still a fun game

Version 1.3.1 fixes a bug that prevented some users from opening the app. Sorry about that!

Version 1.3.0 is a major release that brings you some huge changes:
- Hunting released!!!!!
- Made food rations more realistic (Which makes it quite a bit harder)
- Changed some graphics (A lot, really)
- Increased minimum party size
- Minor bug fixes and layout changes
